I make no secret of my admiration for Ramsey Campbell. He keeps the flag flying for quality horror and any chance to work on his material is to be jumped at. Not that he's an easy author to illustrate because his stories are of the subtle, uneasy kind. So no red paint then. Unlike some more obvious writers Ramsey's stories stay with you. I was really pleased with the way this turned out.
